The Overview
BLK Ed Network is a professional community that supports Black Executive Directors through mentorship, peer learning, and collective advocacy. They approached Golden Launch to redesign their website into a modern, functional, and accessible hub that better represented their leadership network. The goal was to create a digital space that fostered community, celebrated impact, and made it easy for members to access tools and opportunities for growth and development.
The Challenge
The existing site no longer reflected the sophistication or structure of the organization. Information was scattered, membership resources were difficult to find, and the overall design lacked cohesion. We needed to rebuild the experience around clarity, usability, and credibility—positioning BLK Ed Network as both a trusted resource and a powerful voice within the nonprofit sector.
The Research & Discovery
Competitor & Sector Analysis: Studied similar networks to uncover gaps in community design and engagement.
Accessibility Review: Improved color contrast, typography, and navigation for readability and inclusivity.
These insights shaped a strategy focused on making the site informative, inspiring, and effortless to use.

The Design Solution
The new BLK Ed Network website is a functional, modern resource for leaders who are shaping equity across the nonprofit space. Clean structure and accessible design create a seamless user experience, while visual storytelling and brand consistency build credibility and connection. The site now reflects the confidence and collective strength of its community.
The Impact
The redesigned platform has given BLK Ed Network a clear and professional digital foundation. Members can now connect with peers, explore leadership resources, and participate in events with ease. The transformation strengthened both visibility and engagement, positioning BLK Ed Network as a central hub for Black Executive Directors nationwide.
