Creative at heart, strategist by training—from fashion to photography to web design, I've always been drawn to visual storytelling that honors people's work and helps them be seen.
From Fashion to Photography to Design
I started Golden Launch Creative with a vision to empower creatives to excel in their respective fields and expand their presence and influence online. My goal has always been to provide the tools and resources necessary for creatives to thrive in the digital landscape.
But before Golden Launch, my path was rooted in visual storytelling in different forms.
I spent years working in high fashion retail, surrounded by the art of presentation, curation, and the power of image. That world taught me how visual identity shapes perception and creates connection—lessons that still inform every brand system I build today.
From there, I moved into fashion photography, where I learned to capture not just what something looks like, but what it feels like. My work as a fashion photographer was exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Museum of the African Diaspora, and Lowe Art Museum as part of Dandy Lion: (Re)Articulating Black Masculine Identity, a touring exhibition exploring representation and identity. My solo exhibition Can't Sleep at Night was featured at Caldwell University Gallery, and my work has been covered in The Washington Post and The New York Times.
Photography taught me to see composition, light, and narrative—and to understand that every visual choice carries meaning. That foundation in visual storytelling—understanding how images shape narrative, identity, and perception—is what informs my design sensibilities today, especially when it comes to branding.
I approach web design the way I approached photography: with intention, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the story being told.
Golden Launch Creative is the culmination of that journey—a space where creativity meets strategy, where mission-driven brands get the digital presence they deserve, and where visual storytelling serves a greater purpose.
