The Overview

Bridgeforth is a national impact strategy firm founded by Melanie R. Bridgeforth, MSW, a movement architect and former nonprofit CEO with over a decade of hard-won public policy victories across the American South. Melanie founded Bridgeforth to scale her unique brand of systems change work into a consultancy built for leaders who don't just want to make progress. They want to make history. The site needed to match that ambition from the first scroll.

The Challenge

Melanie's work operates at the intersection of policy, philanthropy, and public opinion, a space that's difficult to communicate quickly and nearly impossible to commodify. The challenge wasn't building a website. It was building credibility with high-intent visitors in the first few seconds, earning enough trust to invite a conversation, and doing it without overexplaining a methodology that Melanie intentionally protects. The site had to do a lot of work, quietly.

The Research & Discovery

We started by understanding Melanie's audience and conversion model. Her clients are referred, mission-aligned, and already warm when they arrive. They don't need a feature list. They need confirmation that they're in the right place.

Through content strategy sessions, we identified three core goals for the site: establish Melanie as a nationally recognized strategist, not just a local consultant; translate her track record into instant, scannable proof; and move visitors directly toward booking a conversation, not filling out a form.

That discovery shaped every decision that followed, from page architecture to CTA language.

We built the site around a single strategic conviction: the website's job is to build credibility and create access, not to explain the work.

  • We opened with cinematic, campaign-style hero copy that positions Bridgeforth as a firm, not a freelancer.

  • We pulled Melanie's most compelling policy wins into a metrics strip on the homepage, giving visitors hard evidence without a dedicated case study page.

  • We replaced a standard contact form with a direct calendar booking link, reducing friction for high-intent visitors and honoring Melanie's consultation-driven model.

  • We wrote SEO infrastructure for all five pages, including JSON-LD schema and meta descriptions built around the language her ideal clients actually search.

  • Custom CSS elevated the experience beyond Squarespace defaults: a hover-play video with mute toggle, scroll-triggered animations, and a primary button with a transparent background that inverts on hover.

Final Homepage

The Design Solution

The final site is a five-page digital presence that reads less like a consultant's brochure and more like a campaign launch. Dark, editorial aesthetics. Bold founder photography. Copy that names the stakes and earns the scroll.

The homepage carries the weight of the entire site: story, proof, services, founder voice, and CTA all live on one cinematic page built for referred visitors who arrive ready. Each supporting page deepens a specific layer of trust without repeating what the homepage already established.

The result is a site that works the way Melanie works. Strategic. Precise. Built to win.

Key Outcomes:

  • Full SEO infrastructure across five pages, including schema markup and Search Console setup

  • Replaced a form-based intake with a direct booking link, aligned to Melanie's high-touch client model

  • Custom Squarespace CSS delivering a design finish that exceeds the platform's standard capabilities

  • GA4 configured for post-launch performance monitoring and ongoing optimization
